Spectacular Sunrise at Mount Colombina
Sunrise on Mount Colombina
Sunrise from a natural balcony over Lake Iseo.
The experience
We set off with the Guidders from Bossico, at La Pila, while it is still dark: fragrant pine woods, quiet summer pastures, barns appearing among the meadows and a silence that seems made to clear your head. The climb to Monte Colombina is one of those that let you breathe properly from the first steps. And then the summit: a natural balcony from which Lake Iseo, the Valle Camonica and the Orobie reveal themselves in the first light.
5 reasons to come - sunrise from the summit of Monte Colombina - Lake Iseo catching the first light - the fragrant pine woods on the way up - the pastures and barns among the meadows - getting back with the whole day still ahead
Who it suits A steady climb with nothing technical: all you need is the will to get up early.
