Adamello 2-Day Trek: Dighe Loop and Rifugio Garibaldi in Val d'Avio
Adamello 2-Day Trek
The Adamello is calling for two days you won't forget. Starting from Temù, in the upper Valle Camonica, ready to hike among lakes, dams and glaciers.
The experience
Day one is the Dighe loop: 5 lakes, 11 km and 1000 mt elevation gain in about 6 hours. You start climbing a paved road to the Avio lakes, then a flat mule track to the Benedetto lake dam, up again to the Pantano dam and finally to Passo del Lunedì, with the North Face of the Adamello right in front of you. You descend around the Venerocolo dam to Rifugio Garibaldi, where you stay overnight with half board.
Day two climbs to Passo del Venerocolo, two hours above the refuge, through boulder fields up to the Pisgana glacier. 14 km, 700 mt elevation gain, 7.5 hours of pure silence and nature, then descent back towards Temù.
Why join us: - Two full days immersed in the Adamello, away from the crowd - Overnight stay at the refuge with half board - Unique views over glaciers and granite walls - Live the adventure together with the Guidders
